My name is Daniil Shastovsky. I'm a Senior SEO specialist and team lead with 8 years of experience, plus full-stack development skills. That rare combination lets me see a project under the hood — I don't just spot technical issues, I understand the architecture of React/Next.js apps and can ship a fix or write a Python automation script myself. SEO Control — including the AI Readiness tool and the AI News section on this site — is my own build too, and here I write about how AI search, AEO/GEO, and technical SEO actually work in practice, not just in theory.
My career went from building websites to running SEO departments at large agencies (Zum Punkt) and leading enterprise projects — the Sber ecosystem, Leroy Merlin, Askona. Alongside that, I build my own SaaS products for SEO — the same product thinking is behind SEO Control.
I make decisions from data, not guesses — using SQL, BigQuery, and Python (Pandas) to analyze large sets of keywords and logs. Where I can, I automate: I bring in LLMs for content generation and query clustering, and write custom parsers and monitoring scripts that save hundreds of hours of manual work. I also go deep on technical SEO for SPAs — rendering issues (CSR/SSR) in JS frameworks and how to solve them for Google and Yandex.
