AI Control Help

A short guide to the main workflow: set up a project, choose prompts and systems, run a measurement, and review the responses. The interface may change; follow the latest in-account guidance.

1. Create a monitoring profile

Enter a brand and website, then review the profile settings. A profile keeps each project’s history and analytics separate from other brands.

  • Check the brand name and primary domain.
  • Add the competitors you want to compare with the brand.
  • Set a country or region where available.

2. Prepare a prompt set

Add real audience questions, not only branded queries. Tags help group prompts by topic.

  • Include questions about choosing, comparing, pricing, and specific tasks.
  • Keep the wording consistent for repeat comparisons.
  • Avoid combining different intents in one overly long question.

3. Choose AI systems and run a measurement

Select providers for the current run. Results are saved for each prompt × system pair.

  • ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI, and Yandex Alisa are included in the product list.
  • One successful request to one system uses 1 credit.
  • Yandex Alisa uses a separate list of regions.

4. Read metrics alongside the response

Metrics help identify changes, while saved response text and sources provide context for the numbers.

  • Visibility and share of mentions show brand presence in the selected sample.
  • Positions help compare the brand with named competitors.
  • Citations identify URLs included in saved responses.

5. Export or share a report

Use the available XLSX/PDF export or create a read-only link to a public report.

  • Check the date range, provider filter, and project before sharing.
  • The public link lets people view the report without editing the project.
  • XLSX/PDF exports include data for the selected sections and period.

6. Estimate credit usage

Plan the volume before running checks using the number of prompts, systems, and measurement cycles.

  • One successful request to one provider = 1 credit.
  • Example: 10 prompts × 3 systems × 4 runs = up to 120 credits.
  • Purchased credits do not expire; individual requests may not return a substantive AI answer.
